What is Void Theory?
Void Theory is a reading app for people who want to understand the psychology behind money, influence and human behaviour.
Each course is written as a series of short chapters that you read at your own pace, on your phone. Topics so far include the wealth mindset and the affirmation habits of self-made people, how to command a conversation, and how colour shapes emotion and decisions.
Every course has chapters you can read for free, and readers can rate and review each course, comment on chapters and share their experiences to help others learn. Our courses are created by Void Theory Research.
- We collect your account details, the reviews, comments and posts you share, and your course activity.
- We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.
- You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.
About this policy
Void Theory ("we", "us", "our") publishes the Void Theory mobile app for Android (the "App"). This policy explains what information the App collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
By using the App you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the App.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, SMS messages, call logs, photos or files from your device, and the App does not use your microphone or camera.
How we use your information
- To provide the App, including sign-in, course access and your reviews.
- To process and verify purchases of paid content and unlock what you bought.
- To improve the App, diagnose crashes and understand which features are used.
- To respond to your questions and support requests.
- To protect the App and its users from fraud, abuse and security threats.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Third-party services
The App relies on the following services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase (Authentication and Realtime Database) stores your account, reviews, course access and purchase records. Firebase privacy information
- Google Play Services and Google Play Billing handle app installation and payments for paid content. Payments are processed entirely by Google. Google Privacy Policy
Data may be processed on servers located outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards offered by these providers and by applicable law.
Retention and security
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (see below), we delete or anonymise your personal information, except where we must keep certain records, such as purchase records, to meet legal, tax or fraud-prevention requirements.
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections and access controls on our database. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Delete your account and data
You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data linked to it at any time.
How to request deletion
Email voidtheory4usa@gmail.com from the address registered to your account, with the subject line "Delete my account". Include your name and, if you have it, your user ID.
We will confirm your request and complete the deletion within 30 days. This removes your account details, your reviews, ratings, comments and community posts, and your course activity. Records we are legally required to keep are retained only for as long as the law requires. Access to any paid courses linked to the deleted account will end.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your data or withdraw your consent to our processing it.
- Complain to your local data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You can also ask us to remove any review, comment or post you have shared.
Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly. Where local law sets a higher minimum age, that age applies instead.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you inside the App. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
